About RawDiary
Welcome to RawDiary, your new favorite spot for breaking news—served fast, raw, and without the usual fluff. Think of it as the Drudge Report for people who still appreciate old-school aggregation but don’t want to wade through a sea of pop-ups and conspiracy theories just to get to the good stuff.
We’re a team of two: lifelong news junkies, former Drudge Report diehards, and firm believers that the internet could use a better one-stop shop for breaking stories. Somewhere along the way, we realized that news aggregation had become either:
- (a) painfully slow,
- (b) way too opinionated, or
- (c) buried under so many ads that we half expected to be offered a free cruise just for clicking.
So, we did what any irrationally obsessed news readers would do: we built RawDiary.
What We Do
We scour the web (so you don’t have to) for the biggest headlines of the day, pulling from mainstream sources, independent journalists, and the occasional wildcard. Unlike certain aggregation sites that seem stuck in a time loop, we keep things fresh and dynamic, updating throughout the day as the news unfolds.
And because we’re not bots (yet), we have actual taste. No endless clickbait. No “YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT” nonsense. Just real news, real fast, with the occasional eyebrow-raising link that makes you question everything you thought you knew.
Why "RawDiary"?
Good question. It’s because:
- The world moves fast, and we bring you news in its rawest form — before the spin machines kick into high gear.
- It’s a diary in the sense that we’re tracking history as it happens.
- We tried to buy a domain with “Report” in the name, and let’s just say... people are holding onto those for ransom.
What We’re Not
- We’re not a blog. We don’t write takes. We don’t editorialize. We link. That’s it.
- We’re not partisan. We’ll link to Fox, CNN, The Intercept, The Wall Street Journal, and some guy with a Substack who just happened to break a major story before anyone else. We trust newsworthiness over ideology.
- We’re not here to sell you stuff. No AI-generated “trending” nonsense, no annoying autoplay videos, and no weirdly specific targeted ads that make you question if your phone is listening to you.
Who’s Behind This?
Two people. That’s it. Two long-term Drudge Report readers who spent years waiting for the site to get its act together before finally giving up and building something better. We have no corporate overlords, no mysterious hedge-fund backers, and no obligation to push anyone’s agenda. Just an obsessive love for breaking news and a belief that the internet deserves a fast, simple, and truly independent aggregator again.
